Product Guarantee
1. Recliner Mechanisms
Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the patented parts of the mechanism against manufacturing and material defects for the useful life of the product when used in a normal manner. This warranty is provided to the original consumer purchaser only and does not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential users. The term Limited means the warranty does not cover neglect, accident, fire, exposure to extreme temperature or humidity, unauthorized repairs or alterations, abuse, misuse or the normal wear from use. After one (1) year, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the consumer.
2. Cushioning
The seat cushion foams and filling materials are warranted against defective material or workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of the original purchase. With normal use softening will occur. Softening is not considered a manufacturing defect under this warranty. During the three (3) year period of time, CATNAPPER will provide a replacement of the defective part. Labor and shipping and handling charges are covered for one (1) year from the date of the original purchase.
3. Frames
All frames upholstered in its original fabric are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.
4. Fabrics
The upholstery fabric used on your furniture has a Limited Warranty for one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:
a. Seam Failure
b. Fabric Separation
c. Nap Loss
CATNAPPER will pay for labor costs and shipping and handling charges for defects covered by the fabric warranty. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective fabric only. Improper cleaning or chemical treatment invalidates this warranty. The fabric warranty does not cover piling, fading or shrinkage.
5. Electric Motors and Systems
Electric motors and electrical systems have a Limited Warranty for three (3) years from the date of original purchase. CATNAPPER will repair or replace the defective part during this period of time. However, all labor and charges after one (1) year will be the responsibility of the consumer.
6. Leather
One (1) year Limited Warranty from the date of original purchase for repair or replacement of leather parts against manufacturing or material defects. Since leather is a result of nature, no two pieces of leather are alike and as such, they have natural markings and grain variation, which are not considered defects. The leather warranty will be voided if evidence is found of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, abuse or where the leather has had a chemical treatment applied by the retail dealer or the consumer.
